Deputy Minister Hang praised the strong development of bilateral cooperation in trade–investment, finance, education–training, innovation, energy and climate change adaptation.
She highlighted that bilateral trade has reached a record high and may achieve the 10 billion USD target this year. The UK is Vietnam’s third-largest export market in Europe, while Vietnam is the UK’s second-largest trading partner in ASEAN.
The Duke noted the positive progress in bilateral ties and expressed his wish to enhance cultural and sports exchanges. Both sides agreed on the vast potential for stronger business connectivity and expanded cooperation in culture, education, sports and charity activities.
