With the signing in New York on Wednesday, Vietnam has become one of the few countries in the world to establish diplomatic ties with all 193 UN member states.
Acting Minister Trung and Minister Panapa affirmed that the signing of the Joint Communiqué marks a historic milestone and lays the foundation for future bilateral cooperation.
They agreed to continue consultations to foster cooperation in areas of potential such as the maritime economy, tourism, and education, while closely coordinating at multilateral forums where both countries are members.
