Thang Long Cup, the largest-ever event of its kind, brought together 50 teams from 29 countries, competing in different events. Hoang Vinh Giang, Vice Chairman of the Asian Olympic Committee and Chairman of Vietnam’s Traditional Martial Art Federation, said martial arts is a traditional cultural heritage of Vietnam which was born, existed and developed with Vietnam’s struggle for national defense. Vietnam hopes to introduce its martial arts to the world at this tournament.
