(VOVworld)- The 27th International Biology Olympiad (IBO) will be held in Viet Nam from July 17 to 24.  1,000 biology students from 70 countries and territories will take part in the competition.

Vietnam to host the 27th International Biology Olympiad

The organizing board has invited top Vietnamese scientists and teachers to prep the Vietnamese contestants. Professor Doctor Nguyen Van Minh is Rector of the Hanoi Education University and Head of the Organizing Board of the 27th International Biology Olympiad: “The subcommittees consist of 350 people from different ministries and sectors. We have 110 volunteers from various universities in Hanoi. This is the first time Vietnam has hosted the Biology Olympiad. All the questions for the Olympiad will be written by Vietnamese scientists and teachers”.
