The conference and the second Best Tourism Villages by UN Tourism Network Annual Meeting will take place at Vinpearl Resort & Golf Nam Hoi An from December 9 to 11.

The UN Tourism conference, which is expected to attract 300 delegates, will serve as a platform to discuss issues and initiatives related to sustainable rural tourism development, aiming to diversify tourism offerings, create jobs, and protect natural and cultural resources.  

"High on the agenda will be three main themes including: national and local policies promoting rural tourism development; engaging and empowering local communities in tourism development; and developing innovative tourism products while enhancing market access for rural destinations," said Ha Van Sieu, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism.
