(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has approved a project to compile a Vietnamese encyclopedia. The encyclopedia will comprise 36 volumes featuring Vietnam’s land and people and the world. The compilation will be done in a scientific, systematic manner in accordance with the Marxist-Leninist viewpoint, the thoughts of Ho Chi Minh, and Party and State guidelines. The encyclopedia will serve as a reference book helping to increase public knowledge of Vietnam’s industrialization, modernization, and international integration process. The compilation work by the Vietnam Academy of Social Science is expected to be completed by 2030.
