Vietnam to be made financial gateway, Deputy PM tells lawmakers

(VOVWORLD) -Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh on Wednesday outlined the Politburo's Conclusion on building financial centers in Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang this year, aiming to make them ranked among the 75th leading financial centers in the world according to the Global Financial Centers Index (GFCI) by 2035 and the top 20 by 2045.

Addressing the ongoing 9th session of the 15th National Assembly, Deputy Prime Minister Binh referred to the factors that ensure the success of the international financial center in Vietnam, including the Politburo’s strong push to built two centers at two locations and to create the most favorable conditions for organizations and individuals to participate in the international financial center development.
