The event was organized by the Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ca Mau People’s Committee. Luong Thanh Nghi, Vice Chairman of the Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs, said the Vietnamese Party and State considers Vietnamese expats an inseparable part and an enormous resource of Vietnam. During the annual Camp program, young Vietnamese people from all over the world meet with their domestic peers, study Vietnamese, and learn more about national history, culture, and tradition.
This year’s Camp, the 13th of its kind and the 2nd in Ca Mau, attracted 110 young Vietnamese expats from 25 countries.
