Under the agreement, the two sides hope to increase mutual understanding, tighten ties between their volunteers. They will increase delegation exchanges to consolidate ties as well as work closely on community development programs and cultural activities. On that day, Vice President and General Secretary of the VFF Central Committee Tran Thanh Man had a working session with a delegation from the Singaporean association led by its Chief Executive Director Ang Hak Seng. Man spoke highly of the close collaboration between the VFF and the People’s Association of Singapore, saying that the two sides share the similar modes of operation and have the same goal of improving people’s living standards at grassroots level. Ang Hak Seng expressed his hope that the two sides’ affiliations will continue contributing to the development of the relationship between Vietnam and Singapore.
