At a forum held Tuesday by the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, participants examined the theoretical foundations, reviewed domestic and international experiences, and evaluated the current growth model. The discussion focused on identifying bottlenecks in the current model and outlining a framework for a new model.

Nguyen Hong Son, Deputy Head of the Central Commission for Policy and Strategy, said: "We need concrete solutions to quickly remove the existing bottlenecks, particularly those related to institutions, infrastructure, and human resources. These must be done to revamp, mobilize, and enhance the effective management and use of traditional resources, such as human resources, physical resources, especially land, natural resources, and financial resources."

"Breakthrough institutional and policy solutions are needed to drive development, particularly to fully leverage new growth resources such as science, technology and innovation, digital transformation, and the branding power of the nation, businesses, and Vietnamese products," Son said.
