Themed “Science, technology, innovation – Enhancing socio-economic recovery and development”, the celebration underscored the important role of science and technology in all aspects of life and a key impetus for renewal and development.

Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Tran Van Tung said: “The Ministry will work with sectors, and localities to implement major solutions to develop a national renovation system and reform scientific and technological management mechanisms. It’s necessary to improve scientific and technological levels, attract investment, develop research organizations and an innovation and startup ecosystem, encourage innovation in businesses, and expand international integration.”

At the event, the organizing board gave the Ta Quang Buu award 2022 to Professor, Dr of Science Ngo Viet Trung of the Institute of Mathematics – Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology and Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Le Thu of the University of Science and Technology – Vietnam National University of Ho Chi Minh City for the projects in Mathematics and Chemistry.
