Cooperation activities are based on 19 nuclear power infrastructure issues under the guidance of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to ensure feasibility.Russia will focus its assistance on personnel training. Sokolov Yury of Russia’s Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation and head of the Russian delegation said he hoped to study the practical demand for nuclear power in Vietnam and pledged support for Vietnam in this field.

Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Tran Viet Thanh received the Russian delegation and said that Vietnam is actively working with Russia in training human resources for nuclear power development and pledged that his ministry will pay special attention to boosting cooperation with Russia in this area.
