(VOVworld) – Vietnam earned 2.5 billion USD from exports to Italy over the past 11 months, up 18% from the same period last year.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, almost all Vietnamese export items enjoyed relatively high growth with mobile phones and accessories taking the lead, having a turnover of 913 million USD, accounting for 40% of total export revenue. They are followed by footwear and coffee.

Italy is currently Vietnam’s 18th biggest consumer, 15th biggest supplier, and 3rd largest EU trading partner.
