Vietnam reports 1,300 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday

(VOVWORLD) -The Ministry of Health said that Vietnam on Wednesday recorded an additional 1,336 new cases of COVID-19, twice higher than on Tuesday.

Since the onset of the pandemic, Vietnam’s caseload has hit 11,495,231, ranking 13 out of 230 countries and territories, while with the ratio of infections per 1 million people, Vietnam ranks 115.

During the day, 365 more patients were announced recover from COVID-19, raising the total number of recoveries to 10,599,925.

On Wednesday, one death was recorded in Soc Trang province.

Vietnam has so far administered 260,802,292 doses of COVID-19 vaccine.
