(VOVworld)- The Vietnam Fatherland Front President Nguyen Thien Nhan has urged local front branches to initiate innovation in the building of new rural areas and civilized urban developments.

Speaking in Hanoi on Thursday, Nhan praised Fatherland Fronts in major cities for their successful organization of elections and collection of public opinion as well as their oversight of specific social issues. He asked the front branches to do more to help poor households in their cities.
