The Society presented 420 dollars each to 40 families whose houses were washed away while necessities were provided for families whose houses were severely damaged.

The Red Cross Society of Yen Bai province also provided two seriously ruined households with 42 dollars each, as well as necessities.

Heavy downpours earlier this month triggered flash floods and landslides in Yen Bai, leaving human and property losses in Mu Cang Chai district, the hardest hit locality in the province.
