There were  6 quarantined cases after entry in Tay Ninh (2), Kien Giang (2), Quang Nam (1), and Khanh Hoa (1).

149 cases were locally-transmitted in Bac Giang (90), Ho Chi Minh City (45), Bac Ninh (10), Nghe An (2), Ha Nam (1), and Bac Kan (1). Of them 135 cases were detected in quarantine or lockdown areas.

On Wednesday, Vietnam reported  423 cases of COVID-19 and 47 recoveries.

As of 6pm on Wednesday, Vietnam had a total of 11,635 cases of COVID-19; 4,590 have been cured; 61 have died.

24 provinces have not recorded new cases for 14 days.
