Vietnam records 1,587 new COVID-19 cases on Friday

(VOVWORLD) - From 4:00 p.m. on Thursday to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, the National System for COVID-19 Case Management recorded 1,587 new infections, all of which were recorded domestically, down 128 cases compared to the previous day.

7,151 recoveries were reported in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries to nearly 9.4 million cases.

As of Friday, more than 3.2 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine were administered to children aged 5-11. The Ministry of Health is asking localities to speed up vaccination for children of this age group.
