Vietnam, Qatar aim to boost friendship, multi-faceted cooperation

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam and Qatar wish and are determined to further promote their friendship and multi-faceted cooperation for the common interests of the two peoples, according to Sunday’s meeting in Doha between Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan and Deputy Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Abdullah Bin Hamad Al Thani.

Hanoi and Doha agreed to continue consolidating good political-diplomatic relations by increasing the exchange of delegations at all levels, especially high-level delegations.

The two leaders said that both countries have a lot of potential to boost cooperation in trade, investment, and tourism.

They agreed to coordinate in organizing investment promotion events and business forums in the near future.

The two sides identified investment as a priority field of cooperation and agreed to improve the efficiency of cooperation between funds and enterprises investing in each country in infrastructure, transportation, seaports, and renewable energy.
