Mr. Son proposed three key directions for ASEAN: striving to become the world’s fourth-largest economy by 2030, emerging as a leading digital community, and building a truly people-centered community.

To meet these goals,  ASEAN must give top priority to ensuring robust economic growth, accelerate negotiations on the Digital Economy Framework Agreement to meet practical needs, particularly those of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, and enhance people-to-people connectivity, he said.
