Since its establishment in 2004, the association has followed the Party and State policies and guidelines, contributing significantly to enhancing Vietnam’s friendship and cooperative ties with many African countries.

During the next 5 years, the association has set out targets of promoting good relations with African Embassies in Hanoi and Vietnamese organizations and agencies associated with African countries to boost information, cultural, education, and economic exchanges between the two sides.
