(VOVworld) – Amidst complicated developments of MERS epidemic in several countries including the Republic of Korea and China, Vietnam is preparing numerous solutions to cope with the epidemic. Minister of Health Nguyen Thi Kim Tien made the remarks in a recent TV program “People ask, Minister answers: "The Ministry of Health has instructed health departments and agencies in 63 cities and provinces nationwide to establish surveillance teams to monitor and provide training for healthcare staff in preparation and treatment for any possible MERS cases. We plan to provide immediate treatment for suspected passengers returning from epidemic zones. We have asked for a strict implementation of regulations regarding infection prevention and isolation in hospitals. WHO has hailed Vietnam’s resolute solutions in coping with MERS."
