(VOVworld) – The Vietnam Writers’ Association in Hanoi will hold its 12th Vietnam Poetry Day at the Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature) in Hanoi on February 13-14. Poet Huu Thinh, President of the association, said the Day will also be held other areas nationwide and feature the Vietnamese national identities. This year’s event will spotlight a suite of programs about the battle of Dien Bien Phu, including an exchange program with poets and artists who participated in the 1954 campaign that defeated the French colonialists. The festival in Hanoi will also feature art programs from 7 provinces, including singing of the Mong ethnic group, Quan Ho folk singing and Tinh instrument playing.
