Mr. Hue said going green and digitizing are major global trends that Vietnam is following. He asked Korean banks and financial groups to increase investment in Vietnam, saying that with a firm macro-economic foundation and development potential, Vietnam is determined to overcome immediate challenges to recover and grow. The pandemic, demand for economic restructuring, and international commitments add pressure for Vietnam to make stronger breakthrough strategies to reform its institutions, restructure the economy, accelerate digital transformation, and improve its business environment, said Chairman Hue. Vietnam pledges to develop its investment environment up to international standards and create new business opportunities for foreign investors including Korean ones, he noted.
