At the 67th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) from March 6 to March 17, Ms. Thoa said using digital technology to approach the goal of gender equality requires political will and real actions on the part of governments and a willingness to transform relevant sectors in society.
She said it is necessary to remove gender prejudice from career guidance, and education and training in the natural sciences; narrow the gender gap in digital activities; ensure that women and girls enjoy the achievements of scientific and technological progress; and empower women and girls by equipping them with the knowledge and skills to find jobs in the digital era.
