(VOVworld)- Monday’s newspapers spent most of their coverage honouring Vietnamese doctors and their achievements to mark Vietnam Physicians’ Day on Monday (February 27th). An article published on the People daily said the Ministry of Health will honour Vietnam’s 30 oustanding medical achievements in 13 fields over recent years. The article added the achievements have contributed to improving the national healthcare service and asserting Vietnamese doctors’ skills in the international arena.
Meanwhile, the People’s Army newspaper ran an article on the 10th ceremony to confer the titles "People’s Doctors" and "Emeritus Doctors" on army physicians. The Liberated Saigon newspaper covered Ho Chi Minh city’s medical achievements in applying high technologies in treatment.
