VOV President Nguyen The Ky receives Dutch Ambassador to Vietnam Elsbeth Akkerman in Hanoi on March 7, 2019

The VOV President praised the Radio Training Center of the Netherlands for training VOV journalists and cooperating with VOV over the past years. Mr. Ky said: “VOV is ready to send our journalists for training at the Radio Training Center of the Netherlands and gain experience from our Dutch colleagues. We also welcome Dutch reporters to come to Vietnam and VOV. We are producing a number of radio and TV programs featuring the Netherlands ahead of the Dutch Prime Minister’s visit to Vietnam.”

Mr. Ky said he hoped the Dutch Ambassador will help foster cooperation between the two countries’ reporters especially in programs on climate change, environmental protection, food safety, and culture.

The Dutch Ambassador praised Vietnamese media, especially VOV’s role in bringing international audiences closer to Vietnam. She promised to boost the cooperation between Vietnamese and Dutch media  houses.
