Ambassador Thanh said he hopes PM Pushpa will boost bilateral cooperation, including high-level exchanges.

During his Monday meeting with Foreign Minister Prakash Sharan Mahat, Ambassador Thanh said Vietnam will continue to promote cooperation between Vietnam and Nepal, particularly in economics, adding that Vietnam wants to share experience with Nepal , especially in tourism. He suggested the two sides supported each other in international forums, and informed Prakash about the newly-opened Vietnamese Consulate General in Kathmandu, Nepal. Mr. Prakash spoke highly of bilateral relations between the two nations and suggested the two sides considered visa exemptions for diplomatic and official passports.
