He added that Vietnam treasured the friendly neighborliness and win-win cooperation with China. Despite differences in the East Sea issue, the two countries seek to boost their relationship. Ambassador Dang Minh Khoi said:“The Vietnamese Embassy in China will work to promote its diplomatic role in peace time and protect national sovereignty, territorial integrity, and interests. Efforts should be made to maintain a peaceful environment for development, settle disputes through peaceful means, and achieve a fundamental, lasting solution based on international law. Foreign policies should be carried out under the principle of narrowing differences peacefully, preventing conflicts, increasing cooperation, and paving the way for solutions.”

Also on Friday, the Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia hosted a banquet on the occasion of National Day. Attending the event, Cambodian Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn congratulated the Vietnamese leaders and people and expressed his hope that the friendship and cooperation between the two countries will be consolidated.

Later on, the Embassy representatives paid tribute to fallen Vietnamese volunteer soldiers at the Cambodia-Vietnam Friendship Monument.

The Vietnamese Embassy in South Africa celebrated the 71st National Day at a ceremony, where major achievements of Vietnam were under the review and Vietnamese products and food were introduced.

On Friday Vietnam’s General Consulate in Osaka, Japan, hosted a banquet, which left a warm impression on Vietnamese and Japanese guests.
