(VOVworld) – The Vietnam Museum of Ethnology marked its 20^th anniversary and received the Independence Order, first class, on Saturday.

The museum not only preserves the cultural heritages of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups but also introduces the cultural values of countries in Southeast Asia. Museum director Vo Quang Trong said: “We will hold more exhibits to introduce the cultures of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups and other countries. The displayed intangible cultural heritages will help visitors discover the distinctive and diversified cultures around the world and compare their similarities and differences with Vietnamese culture.”
