At a press conference on Monday, Vietnamese Ambassador to India Pham Sanh Chau introduced 32 events in November to promote Vietnam's image and business potential as well as to deepen the relationship between the two countries. According to Ambassador Chau, the opening of direct flights between Vietnam and India will boost tourism.

Each year, about 35,000 Vietnamese visit India, while 110,000 Indians visit Vietnam. These numbers are expected to soar with the new direct flights operated by IndiGo and VietJet Air.
