(VOVworld)- The Vietnam-Mongolia Intergovernmental Committee on Economic, Trade, Scientific and Technological Cooperation convened for the 15th time yesterday, to boost cooperation between the two countries in various fields. Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Cao Duc Phat and Mongolian Minister of Industry and Agriculture Kh.Battulga briefed each other on the political and socio-economic situation in their countries. The two ministers praised current cooperation in many fields, but said the results have had not yet lived up to the potential, especially in strong sectors like agriculture. Phat said Vietnam can supply rice, fruit, tea, sugar and other farm produce to Mongolia, and wants to import meat, leather and wool from the country.
