Book Street is a beautiful lane connecting Ly Thuong Kiet and Hai Ba Trung streets near Hoan Kiem Lake. There are book stalls, a space to exchange and introduce books, e-book stations and souvenir shops.

Prime Minister Chinh introduced to his guests the tradition of studiousness and reading culture in Vietnam with the government designating April 21 as Vietnam Book Day.

He presented to the Malaysian Prime Minister the book "Some theoretical and practical issues on socialism and the path to socialism in Vietnam" by Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, "The Prison Diary" by Ho Chi Minh and the book "The world's people feelings for President Ho Chi Minh".
