On the occasion of World Day Against Trafficking in Persons 2025, Rinas underlined the efforts made by Vietnamese authorities in the fight against human trafficking, noting that the revised Law on Human Trafficking Prevention and Control took effect this month.
She said the theme of this year’s World Day Against Trafficking in Persons – “Human Trafficking is Organized Crime – End the Exploitation” highlights the role of law enforcement agencies in combating organized crime and ensuring that the legal system is victim-centered in protection, support, and access to justice.
