(VOVworld) – The 4th Vietnam-Laos labour and social welfare ministers meeting took place in Vientiane, Laos, on Tuesday, highlighting the close and effective engagement between the two agencies.
Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Pham Thi Hai Chuyen and her Lao Minister Onchan Thammavong agreed that their cooperation has grown to meet the specific needs of each nation.
They agreed to step up the implementation of a Vietnam-Laos labour cooperation pact signed in 2013.
The 5th meeting is scheduled to be held in Vietnam in 2017.
