Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Le Quang Manh said border projects of Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam have been implemented, mainly focusing on hydro-electricity, mineral exploitation and processing, and cultivation of industrial plants. The infrastructure has been built and transportation system has been upgraded in the area. The Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam Development Triangle Area was established to promote solidarity, and political stability, develop socio-economy and reduce poverty.
Vietnam has made great contribution to the Development Triangle Area. Vietnamese enterprises have invested in 113 projects with total registered capital of 4 billion USD in Lao and Cambodian provinces.
