Mr. Man made the statement at a meeting of the Vietnam Journalists Association in Can Tho city on Friday to implement tasks for 2019. He told the meeting attended by 500 people about future tasks to be undertaken: “I hope that the media will continue to extensively cover the consolidation of the national unity bloc, disseminate information to the public, particularly those in remote, mountainous, border areas and area ravaged by natural disasters. Journalists should work with the Vietnam Fatherland Front to promote democracy and protect people’s legitimate rights and interests.”

The Vietnam Journalists Association conferred the Labor Order of the President and awards to organizations and individuals, who have excellently performed the Association’s activities.
