(VOVworld) – Vietnam exported 27 million workers to Japan in 2015, an increase of 136.6% against that in 2014. The Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs have implemented a number of measures to expand the labor export including strictly managing contracted workers and improving the quality of workers.

The Ministry has also collaborated with functional agencies to send on-the-job trainees to Japan. Vietnam so far has 100,000 workers in Japan. Japan has accepted foreign apprentices in 71 sectors since 2014.
