Strengthening air connectivity, exchanging business delegations, and developing suitable tourism products are crucial factors in promoting two-way tourism between Vietnam and Italy.
The official launch of the Hanoi–Milan direct flight by Vietnam Airlines from July 1 will create favorable conditions for cultural and tourism exchanges, he added.
Raffaele Cattaneo, Secretary of State for the Lombardy Region, said that the region has strengthened its ties with Vietnam in multiple sectors, and that tourism certainly holds great potential.
