Nguyen Canh Cuong, Minister Counselor and head of the Vietnam Trade Office in Belgium and the EU highlighted exports between Vietnam and the EU as well as Vietnam’s competitive edge, saying Vietnam always considers the EU its top partner. He said that as the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) will be signed and ratified in the near future, investors will benefit from its preferences. The ASEAN Trade and Investment Forum 2019 themed “Promoting partnership for economic sustainability” was attended by 200 representatives from leading Belgian and European enterprises.
