At a press conference to announce the event on Tuesday, Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Tran Duy Dong said the Expo creates an opportunity to promote cooperation among members in the innovation ecosystem.
He said that digital transformation is one of very important activities in innovation. For state management agencies, the application of digital transformation will provide better public services for people and businesses. The application of digital transformation in business operations is intended to improve their competitiveness.
According to the MPI official, “The mission of the National Innovation Center Hoa Lac and the Ministry of Planning and Investment is to converge and spread the innovation and creativity because the Center will be home to many tech firms which will provide solutions for digital transformation for domestic and foreign businesses and universities.”
Mr. Dong said the 5-day event will bring together about 300 leading domestic and international tech firms to showcase cutting-edge technologies and products from advanced corporations. The event is expected to welcome 40,000 visitors.
The products and technologies on display will focus on 8 key areas, namely smart factories, smart cities, a digital media lab, environmental technology, cybersecurity, semiconductor industry, hydrogen, and medical.

NIC Hoa Lac covering 20,000 square meters will be inaugurated at Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park after nearly three years of construction, serving as a focal point for connecting entities within the innovation and creative transformation ecosystem in Vietnam.
