The organization’s managing director, Ngo To Nhien, told the launching ceremony in Hanoi on Thursday: “People may think about new liquefied natural gas power plants in the future as a way to ensure power grid’s flexibility. But there are a series of questions to address, including the system’s output and reliability, upgrading requirements and funding resources as well as tariffs. Researchers in our group will look at those questions which are of interest to policy makers.”
