(VOVworld) – Vietnam and Germany have agreed to work closely together to finalize the legal framework for cooperation in crime prevention and control. The agreement was reached during talks in Berlin on Friday between Cornelia Rogall-Grothe, State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of the Interior of Germany and General Tran Dai Quang, Minister of Public Security of Vietnam. The two sides agreed to share information and experience in combating organized crime, transnational crime, drug-related crime, and high tech crime, while boosting the training of high-tech crime and criminal staff to further cooperation between the two ministries. Both host and guest acknowledged progress in combating crime, especially in implementing Vietnam-Germany agreements on cooperation in dangerous and organized crime, and on readmission of citizens.
