(VOVworld) – National Assembly Deputy Chairwoman Tong Thi Phong has called for the best preparations for the organization of the 132nd Inter Parliament Union in Hanoi next March, saying the event conveyed an important message of peace, democracy, progress, and equality, and helped to boost Vietnam’s image on the international stage.

She made the remarks at a general meeting for the event’s organizing board on Friday in Hanoi. She asked the relevant agencies to create the best conditions for the Vietnamese delegation to attend the 131st IPU in Switzerland next month.
