(VOVworld) - Vietnam and France have reached consensus on crime fighting and expanding cooperation in combating organized crime, transnational, terrorism, drugs, cyber crime, money laundering, human trafficking, illegal immigration, and financial or and trade fraud involving Vietnamese and French citizens.

At talks in Paris on Thursday, Vietnamese Minister of Public Security General Tran Dai Quang and French Minister of the Interior Bernard Cazeneuve vowed to work together on personnel training, to combat cyber crime and money laundering. Both sides will share experience and provide equipment for fire fighting, search-and-rescue operations, and civil defense.
