Vietnam Foreign Ministry discusses citizen protection

(VOVWORLD) - Spokesperson for the Vietnam Foreign Ministry Le Thi Thu Hang said the Vietnamese Economic and Culture Office in Chinese Taipei is working closely with relevant local agencies to search for and rescue Vietnamese workers stuck after fire broke out in a factory  in Taoyuan.

At a press conference on Thursday, Hang said 5 injured Vietnamese workers have been hospitalized. In its latest report, the Department for Overseas Worker Management of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs said that 6 other Vietnamese workers died in the incident.
