(VOVworld) - Vietnam Fatherland Front President Nguyen Thien Nhan has urged farmers to get connected through collectives in business negotiation, branding and credit access.

He was speaking during his working visit to the Vietnam Farmers’ Association on Saturday:
“It’s difficult for farming household to work on their own in business operation. The market economy does not work in credit borrowing in individual households. Credit access and market outlets could be ensured through collectives.”
The Fatherland Front President urged the farmers’ association to promote farmers’ innovation and food hygiene practices while encouraging them to join social and health insurance policies.
