(VOVworld) - The Ministry of Justice and German KAS Institute have reviewed international and domestic experience in law enforcement supervision by mass organizations. Speaking at the workshop in Hanoi on Friday, Dr. Tran Van Dat from the Ministry of Justice said that the engagement of political and social organizations and the people in law enforcement monitoring is a key principle, where the Fatherland Front plays a central role.
He called for better cooperation mechanism between the Front and relevant ministries in this issue. Dat said: “The State should allocate more resources to improve the Front’s cooperation with State agencies, especially in capacity building for staff members. The Front should have more active plan to promote their human resources and training activities to enhance law enforcement monitoring.”
