Vietnam Fatherland Front appeals for public support after Bualoi’s rampage

(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnam Fatherland Front has raised more than 25 million USD in donations and pledges from agencies, units, organizations, businesses, and individuals to aid communities devastated by typhoon Bualoi.

At a ceremony in Hanoi on Thursday, President of the VFF Central Committee Do Van Chien delivered an urgent appeal for public support to rebuild areas battered by the disaster.

The VFF will receive donations at its headquarters at 46 Trang Thi street in Hanoi.

The Union of Vietnamese Associations in Japan and community organizations held a fundraising ceremony on Thursday.
