Vietnam enters ASEAN Championship final by defeating Singapore 3-1

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam has qualified for the 2024 ASEAN Championship final with a 3-1 win at home (5-1 on aggregate) against Singapore at Viet Tri stadium in Phu Tho province on Sunday night. Vietnam’s goals were scored by Nguyen Xuan Son and Nguyen Tien Linh.

Son and Linh are now first and second in the Golden Boot race. Vietnam will take on either Thailand or the Philippines in the final, with the first leg played at Viet Tri stadium on Thursday. On Sunday the team will travel to the stadium of the second finalist for the second leg of the final.
